we create depth and shadow by layering prints, expressing motifs in three dimensions.
This gives them a sculptural presence that goes beyond flat graphics.
Each cross motif has a different background color.
The OLIVE cross is based on medals seen in vintage Soviet army items, reflecting their rugged and profound historical significance.
The BLK cross adopts the Iron Cross of the former German army as its motif, reconstructing it as a symbolic and powerful design.
Furthermore, by combining delicate rose motifs with each cross, contrasting elements are made to coexist, imbuing the design with a message that goes beyond mere military aesthetics.
By superimposing conflicting concepts such as ruggedness and fragility, and beauty and violence, the design sublimates into one that embodies a quiet will for "anti-war."
